In reference to OntarioLearn on-line courses, the final grades may be viewed
on-line around 2-3 weeks or earlier following the end of the course.
At once available, your grade(s) transcript will automatically be mailed to you.
To view your grades online follow these instructions:

- Go to the website www.sheridaninstitute.ca
- At the top of the page, click the link item [AccessSheridan]
- Enter your UserID and PassWord in the boxes, and click [ Log In ]
- On the 'accesssheridan page, click the link [ O.A.S.I.S - Self Service ]
- On the SAPROD page click the following menu items:
a) Click on your Home page [SA Self Service]
b) Click on [Learner Services]
c) Click on [Academics]
d) Click on [View my grades
The Grade Page is then displayed. On the Grade Page you may choose to see your grades by class, or, if you are enrolled in a program, you may look-up your GPA.
If you cannot log-in to SheridanAccess,
please contact the "Call Center" at 905-845-9430 ext: 2961
and have the following information ready:
- Last name, First name
- Student Number
- The name and course code for which you want the grade
The new Microsoft Vista Operating System has not been approved for WebCT Vista platforms yet and may cause some problems. The recommended software for the online accounting Application Software courses, ASA 1 and ASA 2, is as follows:
- Microsoft 2000 or XP Operating System
- Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007
- High speed internet connection
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 or 7

US Government study of Online Education
A recent 93-page report on online education, conducted by SRI International for the Department of Education, has a starchy academic title, but a most intriguing conclusion: "On average, students in online learning conditions performed better than those receiving face-to-face instruction."
