There are many ways for you to stay involved with Sheridan.

Represent your field of study and become a leader by joining the Alumni Advisory Committee. For more information please contact the Alumni Office at 905-815-4078.

The following are other ways to get involved and connect with Sheridan and our alumni

  • Volunteer to organize an alumni event - Here are a list of event ideas

  • Want to organize a Sheridan Alumni Employer visit at your organization? Contact the Alumni Office at 905-815-4078 to organize an event. See the events page for details and photos from past employer visits. Note: there must be a minimum of 20 Sheridan alumni employed to host an employer visit

  • Be a class agent and Coordinate a reunion for Homecoming

  • Be an Alumni Career Mentor in Sheridan's CONNECTIONS Career Mentoring Program

  • Make a donation to these projects and become part of the Sheridan legacy:

    • The Centre for Healthy Communities, Davis Campus
    • Sheridan Animation Centre, Trafalgar Road Campus
    • Student Service and Technology Support, Davis and Trafalgar Campuses

Organize an Alumni Event

Do you want to reconnect with former classmates? Begin planning or attending Sheridan Alumni events to network with fellow graduates. Here are some event ideas:

  • Tour of new animation wing and cocktail banquet
  • Summer barbeque on campus with former classmates
  • Breakfast with the dean of your school and invite former classmates
  • Theatre night at Sheridan and alumni from your program
  • Sheridan artist showcase displaying work of present and past students
  • Soccer game alumni versus Sheridan Bruins varsity team
  • Coffee house night with live music and alumni from your program
  • A series of meetings hosted by alumni entrepreneurs to spotlight their business and provide networking opportunities
  • Dinner and/or silent auction for a class or program reunion
  • 10km walk to develop a scholarship fund for a student in a specific program/school
  • Speaker series for alumni to advise students on issues relating to their education and/or transfer into a career

The alumni staff is willing to assist you in the process by compiling contact lists of graduates, e-mailing invites, booking rooms to host the event, and much more. Please keep the Alumni Office up-to-date with any events you are orchestrating so we can promote the event on our new alumni events calendar.
