The Sheridan Business – General diploma program is a flexible two-year program that explores different opportunities in business so you can decide upon a career path. The first year is a foundational curriculum shared by all business students that includes essential business skills you need to begin your career. The second year you specialize your study to include courses that meet your particular career interests and goals.
Your business diploma program will cover such topics as:

Engaging, Hands-on Activities
Through practical, hands-on classroom activities, including such assignments as working with a team to sell a product in a non-traditional way, you learn about making business decisions, planning, working with a team, using business computer applications and how to write effective business correspondence. By the time you complete the Business diploma program, you will have well honed problem-solving abilities that will serve you well in your career.

The Business college diploma program is offered at the Davis Campus in Brampton and the Trafalgar Road Campus in Oakville, Ontario.
Program Eligibility
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:
- One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U)
plus
- Mathematics, Grade 12 (C or U) or mathematics, Grade 11 (M or U*)
* MBF3C does not meet this requirement.
or
Mature student status. (See "Admissions" section for details.)
Applicant Selection
Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of previous academic achievement (the average of their six highest senior-level credits, including required courses).
Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements for this program will be assessed and advised individually and may be considered for other, related programs.
Course Exemptions
Many courses within the Business programs are eligible for Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). Students with experiential learning may be able to challenge certain courses. In addition, certain College or University credits may permit course exemptions.
