Our combination of high tech facilities, engineering expertise, and industry contacts makes Sheridan uniquely qualified to offer quality assurance training. We know the most current practices in real-world manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance, and we can replicate them in the lab for our students.

Targeted Career Preparation
Sheridan's Quality Assurance program emphasizes practical, hands-on instruction and career preparation. You'll work with international standards such as ISO9000 and TS16949 while learning state-of-the-art quality assurance applications in:
- Statistics
- Planning
- Documentation
- Audits
- Product safety
- Measurements and testing
The program offers professional preparation for a quality assurance career, including in-depth coverage of material that appears on the examinations for the professional designations of Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) offered by American Society for Quality.
After completing two academic terms, students can apply for a paid co-op work term to gain professional experience while deepening their education. Enrolment is limited and requires a separate application process; see

Sheridan Manufacturing and Management Quality Assurance courses are held at the Davis Campus in Brampton, Ontario.
Quality assurance professionals apply engineering and management principles to improve quality, efficiency, and profit for the companies they serve. They play vital decision making roles, and are increasingly in demand. Companies in all areas of business and industry (including automotive, aviation, chemical, computer, electronics, energy, food, mechanical, moulding, plastics, and pharmaceutical) employ quality assurance personnel.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
- Postsecondary diploma or degree,
and/or
- Demonstrated competence through related work and educational experience
Computer literacy skills (competent in operating systems, spreadsheets and word processing systems) testing may be required.
Applicant Selection
Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of demonstrated competence through related work and educational experience.
Postsecondary transcripts, indicating courses completed to date, must be submitted to ontariocolleges.ca at the time of application.
Applicants may be required to complete English testing to demonstrate proficiency.
Candidates may be required to participate in an interview and complete a questionnaire.
Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements for this program will be assessed and advised individually and may be considered for other, related programs.
